Terms & Conditions
These terms cover the use of Gecko, which is provided by Accelerize 360. “We” below means Accelerize 360. The sections about how the product behaves are exact. The commercial clauses are marked where they still need a lawyer — this page is not finished, and it says so rather than pretending otherwise.
What Gecko does, and what it will not do
Gecko connects to your data warehouse and your source repository. It catalogues your estate, raises findings, and writes changes it thinks are improvements.
It does not write to your warehouse. Every change it proposes arrives as a pull request against your repository, and merging one is always a person's decision — Gecko has no merge button. Where you have asked it to open pull requests unprompted, it still cannot merge them.
You remain responsible for what you merge. A proposed change is reviewed by you in the same way any colleague's would be.
Your account
Signing up creates an organization and its first account, and needs approval before it opens. Keep your credentials to yourself; anything done with them is treated as done by you.
You give Gecko credentials for your own systems. Grant it the least it needs — the setup guide asks for read-only access to Snowflake, and nothing in the product requires more.
What it costs
Gecko is free until it has delivered $1,000 of measured value, counted as waste removed from your warehouse bill plus the fixes your team merged. Both halves are visible in the product, on a page you can open.
Needs your lawyer. Price after that, billing period, notice, what happens on non-payment, and whether the $1,000 figure is contractual or indicative. The figure itself is provisional and is recorded as such in the codebase.
Your data
Yours. Using Gecko does not give us rights over your data, your schemas or your code beyond operating the service for you. What is read and stored is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Availability, liability and warranty
Needs your lawyer. Uptime commitment if any, limitation of liability, exclusion of warranties, indemnities, and what is promised about the correctness of a finding or a proposed change. This is the section that matters most in a dispute and the one that must not be improvised.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time.
Needs your lawyer. Notice period, refunds, suspension for cause, and what happens to your data and to any open pull requests when an account closes.
Governing law
Needs your lawyer. Jurisdiction and governing law, which follow from where the company is established.
